All Faiths Direct Cremation Service

How to Arrange

How do I arrange a Direct Cremation Service?

Upon the death of a loved one, there are a number of important things you need to do. The team at All Faiths are here to help you every step of the way.

Next steps

  • You will need to register the death within 5 days in-person at the registry office of the district where your loved one passed away. The person registering must be either a relative; have been present at the death; or the person making the funeral arrangements.

You can begin to make arrangements for the funeral before the death is registered however, the details can only be confirmed after registration takes place. Click here to find the relevant registry office

  • If you have been informed that the Coroner is involved in investigating the death, you will not need to attend the registry office as there is a different set of paperwork completed by the coroners office. Please inform us if this is the case.

  • You’ll need to make payment of £995 for our service using our online payment page and you will then receive paperwork to record your wishes as well as the statutory forms to return to us.

  • You will need to make some decisions about the type of direct cremation you would like for your loved one. Whether you choose a completely unattended service; or wish for a more personal option; you can go through details either using our online form or over the phone with our helpful team.

  • Following completion of the arrangements and necessary paperwork, you’ll be able to upload your signed forms along with any photographs and readings you wish to be included in the service via our website. Alternatively, you can email these directly to us via info@afdc.co.uk

  • The statutory paperwork for cremation will be collated by our team with any other medical forms to allow the cremation to take place.

  • Once the payment has been received and all forms completed, we will be in touch to confirm the funeral arrangements.

At any time prior to the funeral, you can contact us for support and one of our caring members of staff will do their very best to provide the necessary support for you and the family.
